Welcome to Kohanaiki

Kohanaiki Private Club Community is a member-exclusive community on Hawaii's Kohala Coast. It is located only 4.5 miles from the Kona International Airport, which makes arriving and departing simple. (But then again, who would ever want to leave?) This invitation-only facility reserves the finest treatment for its members.

Kohanaiki sports Hawaii’s newest resort, with elite access to 1.5 miles of pristine shoreline that is perfect for snorkeling, diving, and surfing. This unique location on the Big Island provides ample amenities for the entire family, and there is something special for everyone to enjoy. Children’s day camps and an organic communal farm bring people together and establish a strong sense of community here in Kohanaiki, while nearby retailers like Costco Wholesale and The Home Depot make running errands simple. (Don’t forget to stop by Mrs. Barry’s Kona Cookies on the way home!)

Members at Kohanaiki Private Club Community can tee off at the Rees Jones-designed course. The 18-hole, par 72 course is both challenging and enjoyable for players with six oceanfront holes—the most in Hawaii! The course has earned its right to be Audubon International Silver Certified for carefully maintaining the landscape, utilizing water conservation techniques, and promoting the health of naturally occurring vegetation. Comfort stations make playing a luxurious experience. Members can also participate in the member-exclusive Q Golf Tournament.

At the 67,000-square-foot clubhouse, members have access to a billiard room with a bowling alley, the on-site sushi restaurant Kōnane, a wine and cheese tasting-room, a movie theater, a craft beer brewery, and more. Visiting the Kohanaiki Beach Club is a fantastic way to relax in the sun. Grab a cocktail at the Beach Bar and watch humpback whales from the shoreline or enjoy a refreshing coastal-inspired meal at the open-air Beach Restaurant. Menus shift daily in order to serve only the freshest ingredients all year round, and the oceanfront views are absolutely stunning. Families will enjoy splashing in the Ohana Pool, where the adults can sip poolside beverages while kids zip down waterslides. Plus, the nearby event lawn is always hosting events like movie nights and volleyball tournaments. At the spa, relax and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit with a treatment using raw ingredients inspired by Hawaii. Designed by Tracy Jones, the spa touts state-of-the-art facilities and a variety of treatments, like a turmeric tincture massage and a pure mana island detox body treatment. Living in Kohanaiki is like a resort vacation every day.
